How can I measure a wound surface area?

For every shot, the reference marker, a black square of 2×2 cm must be included on the image for calibration purposes.

The device must be 10-40 cm far from the wound drawing in order to allow optimal recognition of the calibration square. (See illustration 1)

Image capture must always be carried out with the phone parallel to the table plane. (See illustration 1)

The square edges should be as much parallel as possible with the shooting frame.

The capture must cover the wound entire surface area and calibration square.

Calibration must be efficient and is done after the shooting, by selecting the black square. If calibration is correct, the application shapes the square edges as shown in the following image. If the application cannot shape the square, the shot must be resumed.
